Description

Base-sherd from a semiglobular or carinated cup; horizontal string marks. Fine, pink (5 YR 7/4) clay with a redder core, covered with dark brown paint. Completely painted, including bottom of base. Added paint would not be preserved this low on vessel. Comments: MM III. Marked "Fc".
