Description | Body-sherd from a closed vessel. Fine, very pale brown (10YR 7/4) clay with a paler surface, with decoration in red paint. Wiped with water and burnished. Leaf-like tendril stems, with dots, below band at base of neck. A complex version of the motif (for which see Vol. I, no. 30). |
