Description | Jug with raised spout. Fine, reddish yellow (7.5 YR 7/6) clay, covered with unevenly colored dusky red to reddish black paint, with decoration in added red and added white paint. Painted on interior of mouth and neck and on exterior. Added red: dots on shoulders. Added white: pendant triangles on shoulder, filled with dots, with one band above and two below; lines on handle. Complete profile preserved, except for spout. For a discussion of the deposit see Silverman 1978a: 162-163 and Soles 1979 a: 152. |
