Description | Catlinite pipe carved in one piece but broken into two sections: (a) with bowl; (b) stem with fin on top surface. Lead inlay of sylized hearts and step fret diamond shapes on stem beneath bow and arrow design on fin, band of rectangles around stem in area of break, and geometric design around bowl. Incised zig-zag pattern along edge of fin and within diamonds and hearts on stem. |
