Description

Base-sherd from a closed vessel. Medium textured, pink (5 YR 7/4) clay with a redder core, with decoration in black paint. Handmade. Wiped with water. Band at base and other designs, not fully preserved. Surface eroded. Comments: MM I-III. For comments on the Middle Minoan Dark-on-light Style see MS4638.1.
