ORNAMENTED GOURDS: With burnt decoration. Used for storage of small articles; some were also used for storing oil.

Row of seven blackened X's encircle center of gourd (making four trinangles all points facing one and other); columns in between each X, above and below are incised with cross hatch pattern.

Six pointed cut out at top.
