Description | Black ware burning reddish brown. "Boat shaped". Rounded base and sides rising to a carination slightly above the centre; above the carination, the sides contract slightly to an overhanging rim. Two high loop handles from rim to carination terminate on the body in a horizontal bar extending on each side from the base of the handle. Incised "Walls-of-Troy" design on body between carination and rim. Fragmentary but probably complete. |
