Description | Container was used for storage of small articles; some were also used for storing oils. Body of container is bulbous with a flat base; eleven pointed star cut out on the top center of piece; two tiny holes, 4 cm apart at rim on lower right side of gourd. Body is incised with a blackend geometric design (burning technique) of large X's, triangles, and cross hatch pattern. Similiar to AF1252a,b |
