Description

Ovoid leather ring with feathers projecting out in all directions from its outer edge. Another similar piece of leather holds the feathers on in the back. The leather is dyed red. On the top piece of leather is beadwork. There is a cowrie shell at each end and at the midpoint of each side. Each cowrie is surrounded by two lines of beads and there is a single line of beads connecting each cowrie. Bead colors are red,white, blue, yellow, orange, black and green. The ends of some of the feathers are tinted red.
