Description | Spouted, effigy jar. Ring base Probably an armadillo in its hing legs. Front of oval body flattened with four lugs representing feet. Elongated nose. Button eyes. Vertical spout. Back painted with cross hatch in sepia on gray representing scales. The crosshatch surrounded by raised red edge. Spout decorated with red and purple horizontal bands on gray. Intact except for tip of spout missing. |
