Description

Body-sherd from a closed vessel. Fine, pink (7.5 YR 7/4) clay, with decoration in unevenly colored brown paint. Wiped with water and burnished. Handmade (?). Band and tortoise-shell ripple. Comments: MM III-LM IB. Compare MS4617.15. Ripple Ware. See vol. I, no. 24.
