Description

Dome-shaped lid with pawn-shaped knob. Fine, very pale brown (10 YR 8.3) clay with decoration in red to black paint. Wiped with water and burnished. Knob painted; tortoise-shell ripple on upper surface. Underside unpainted. Fragment. Comments: MM III-LM IB. For Ripple Ware see the Cretan Collection: Vol. I, no. 24.
