Description | Body-sherd from an "in-and-out bowl." Fine, pink (7.5 YR 7/4) clay with a paler surface, with decoration in brown paint. Wiped with water and burnished. Wavy line and solid semicircles between bands, with slanting dentate band below in interior. Linked running spirals with floral motif in center. For the "in-and-out bowl" see vol. I, no. 23. |
