Description | Rim-sherd with one horizontal handle from a bridge-spouted or side-spouted jar (?). Medium textured, pink (5YR 8/4) clay shading to light gray, with light and dark inclusions, with pink slip and decoration in reddish brown paint and added white paint. Handmade. Interior unpainted. Band at rim; top of handle painted, with lines around handle; joined circles with rosettes inside. Added white: thin bands on dark bands; tiny dots on circles. Surface eroded. |
