Description | Rim-sherd from a closed vessel; two plastic knobs on the exterior, with the upper one flanked by perforations; another knob or handle, now missing, was at the rim on the inside, between the perforations. Fine, gritty, very pale brown (10YR 8/4) clay, with decoration in black paint. Wiped with water. Handmade. Interior unpainted. Band on rim. Splatters of paint on upper part of body. Comments: MM III-LM IB(?). |
