Description | Body-sherd froma large closed vessel. Fine, pink (7.5YR 7/4) clay, with decoration in dark brown to black paint. Wiped with water and burnished. Handmade. Interior unpainted. Running spirals with solid centers, with sea anemone as filling ornament. Surface eroded. The date is based on the spirals. For the sea anemone see Niemeier 1985: 40, fig. 13. |
