Description | Body-sherd from a closed vessel, perhaps a squat alabastron like vol. I, no. 65. Fine, reddish yello (5YR 6-7/6) clay, covered with pink slip, with decoration in yellowish red paint. Burnished. Wavy lines with dots (octopus with dots for the suckers on the tentacles?). Surface eroded. Compare vol. I, no. 65 (Pseira), with discussion. |
