Description

Body-sherd with part of a vertical handle from a closed vessel. Medium textured, unevenly colored gray clay, with traces of decoration in dark brown paint. Wiped with water and burnished. Interior unpainted. Tortoise-shell ripple. Surface eroded, and burned. Comments: MM III-LM IB. Marked "B5." From House B, room 5. Surface burned. Ripple Ware. See vol. I, no. 24.
