Description | [Along with MS4637.94] Two non-joining rim-sherds from one or two open vessels, probably from a single stemmed cup like 579 [MS4169]. Fine, pink (7.5YR 7/4) clay, with decoration in dark brown to black paint and added white paint. Wiped with water and burnished. Band on inside of rim; painted in lower part of interior. Band on rim; double axe with solid dot as finial, above band. Added white: band on rim. Surface eroded. See 579 [MS4169]. |
