Description

Open bowl with flat, outturned rim and slightly convex profile. Medium textured, pink (7.5 YR 7/4) clay with light and dark inclusions, covered with black paint, with decoration in added white paint. Wheelmade (?). Completely dark painted. Added white: retorted spirals on exterior. Large section from side preserved; surface eroded. A common motif. For discussion see Walberg 1983: Motif 5.
