Description | Conical ryton with high handle; flat, outturned rim, more pronounced than MS5771. Fine, pink (7.5 YR 7/4) clay with a darker core, with the exterior pinkish white (7.5 YR 8/2) with decoration in red to reddish brown paint, added red paint and added white paint. Wiped with water and burnished. Painted on inside of mouth: solid semicircles on top of rim; joining running spirals with solid centers below rim; crosshatching on lower part of handle. Added red: painted solid on upper part of handle. Added white: thin bands on dark bands; tiny dots on centers of spirals. Upper part preserved. Comments: LM I. See MS4124.
