Description | Body-sherd from the neck (?) of a closed vessel. Fine, pink (7.5 YR 7/4) clay, with decoration in black paint and added red paint. Wiped with water and probably burnished. Surface eroded. Band; diagonal lines. Added red: diagonal lines between the black lines. Comments: Probably LM I. The use of a distinctive added red paint indicates a likelihood of a LM I date. |
