Description

[Joins with MS4628.5A] Rim-sherd from a carinated cup; fine ridging on upper section. Fine, brown (7.5YR 5/2) to redder clay, covered with black paint, with decoration in added white paint. Added white: borad line around vase and rising to rim. Although the carinated cup begins in MM IB, the ridged examples are not made before MM II.
