Description

Japanese print. A man offers a seated geisha some sake from a cup. A shamisen sits next to her along with a tray and teapot. Next to them, a standing geisha holds some folded paper in her hand. Some boats can been outside the window. Probably published by Nippon Gasui-Sha (Japan Print Purity Company) as part of their monthly series The Nippon Mokuhan Gasui (Masterpieces of Old Japanese Colour Prints). After Utagawa Toyoharu (c. 1735 - 1814 CE).
