Description | Flat, rectangular board. Dark brown. One half of one face carved with four deep, broad grooves. Towards the end, the two middle grooves narrow and cross, forming a free-standing diamond. A similar board, with grooves at both ends and diamonds in the center, is identified on a blog about Indonesian Musical Instruments as a "weaving musical instrument," because it is used to entertain weavers while working. The free-standing triangle is sounded by striking. Like CG94-3-39B. Both numbered P1475. |
