Description | Female figure, arms and legs flexed, in frame. Face carved, upside down, at bottom of frame, small Janus heads projecting at top. Nassa shell and mother-of-pearl ornaments attached with fiber to ears and nose. Fiber apron. Low relief chevrons all around frame (on front, side edges and back). Twisted fiber through Janus heads at top. Traces of red pigment. |
