Description | Square container made of one piece of birch bark folded and secured on two sides with wood splints lashed over top edge and sewn into container sides to form saw tooth design; these same sides are reinforced with layers of birch bark painted black and unpainted, and cut to mirror sawtooth design of lashings. |
