Description | Large rectangular fishing net of knotted vegetable fiber attached at opposite ends to carved wooden poles; a heavier braided rope of animal fiber is laced along the outside end of net; large carved wooden floats are attached to this rope; sinkers of stone wrapped in birch bark are attached at various places on the netting. |
