Description | Carved wooden model of a sled; runners curve up at front and are joined to a U-shaped crossbar. The bed consists of two boards supported by 3 H-shaped braces; the two wooden side rails, lashed to the H-shaped braces, are joined at the back by a U-shaped crossbar. Back board at rear. Front end open. A moveable U-shaped wooden frame attached to rails near first H-brace. Nearly the entire model is joined by hide and parchment lashings. |
