Description | Hand plane consisting of a slightly curved rectangular body with handles at each end; the body is pierced with an oval opening flanked by two T- shaped openings through which a curved band blade passes and is secured from behind with wooden pegs, the 3/4 inch (1.9 cm) wide blade curves outward over the oval opening. |
