Description | Shaman's kit consisting of hide thong belt to which two sheaths and a pouch are attached with hide strips, all of folded birch bark; the sheaths have cotton cloth binding on the top, one side, and bottom; the pouch has a cover which slips down over it on hide strips, secured on top with three Chinese coins; a carved ivory amulet with incised cross hatching is fastened to one end of the belt. |
