Description | Sue ware (須恵器) known as Hasō (はそう,瓦泉). Coarse clay. Very wide mouthed globular pot. Rounded bottom is small compared to long and widening neck. Wider band near top. Markings on surface as if it was turned. Round hole in side of pot appears to have been made prior to firing. Black line residue (?) on bottom interior pot. |
