Description

White cotton stocking (?) with cotton lining; finely woven upper rising to high point in front; slightly rounded toe coming to a point; sides and sole of heavy cotton rows of tiny stitches on sole extending a few inches up back of stocking; three rows of fine stitching secure upper to sole, fine red clover printed on bottom of heel; red clover and black ink character on lining near top front.
