Description | Hat of black horsehair mesh trimmed and edged at seams with metal ribbing; second layer of horsehair filagree springs from crown and forms hood which ends in scalloped edge just above two streamers which flow from rear base; trimmed with thin metal repousse medallions (11) bearing floral and dragon designs and filagree metal tags at ends of streamers, rear medallion is decorated with orage glass stone set in metal filagree. Made with stitching and tying as well. |
