Description

Long sleeve robe of woven cotton; central opening with slits up the sides. Appliqued red wool bands border both sides of central opening, hems, side slits and cuffs. Highly embroidered band appliqued at neck, and bordered with red pompoms. Bottom of garment, both front and back, is decorated with narrow bands of embroidery alternating with broad bands of red, blue and white applique. Above all is a 6" band of white, red and gold embroidery in the "tree of life" motif. Side slits are ornamented with black and white glass beads strung on long strands of loose purple threads. Interior of body and sleeves edged with light blue cotton.
