Description | Spear with a leaf-shaped, socketed blade with an elongated tip. The blade has a wide, medial ridge with darkened, unpolished metal along either side. The upper end of the faceted shank is etched with a herringbone pattern. The short, wooden spear shaft is wrapped with alternating coils of wide, copper-colored metal wire and bronze-colored metal wire. The butt end terminates in an extremely long, pointed ferrule, which is faceted but otherwise undecorated. |
