Description | Long stringed lute ( Đàn đáy or Cai Dan Day) with small rectangular body and long neck (missing frets). Played mostly in Northern Vietnam with an accompanying singer. It has three strings which are tuned a fifth apart ( Low G on the Bass Clef, D a fifth higher, and A above). Chordophone. |
