Description | Composite arrow: reed shaft, hard wood point. Nocked. Very fine binding at juncture between shaft and point, covered with some sort of sealant. No binding at nock end, although appears once present. Wood decorated with longitudinal black lines edged with white, on red. Two bands of fine binding. 15.7 cm. tip with what appears to be broken-off bone point. Exhibited at l'Exposition universelle de Paris 1900. |
