Description

Deer. One horn broken off, chips from the other. Hand-made, buff clay with red-polished surface, much worn. Bottom unfinished and slightly concave, the animal probably attached to a vessel. Block-like body, no legs shown, large head with branching pointed horns. Eyes rendered by two gouged holes, nostrils and mouth by incisions.
