Description

A large flat saddle bag made of the skin of an animal; it is open across the top; 3 twisted cords are attached at either side to form a handle, fringes are also attached; the bottom is rounded; 2 legs are fastened with round braided cord; there are fringes attached to each end; the neck of the animal is closed with a small lashed tube and fringe. The back has a large applique decorated with stained, painted, incised and tooled geometric designs. The front has several small appliques with similar designs.
