Description

"Pottery spindle whorl, hard baked brown, Class IIb stemmed." as per register. Design is three bands, with one interior diamond, with a circle inside, and three concentric diamond lines. Encircling band with perpendicular lines, and two concentric circles around it. Stem is angled, not vertical, and decorated with a band with a continuation of the design of the other bands. Four lines made of circles extending from the interior hole to the exterior, on the flat bottom.
