| Description | Checker weave, border of broad black strip woven next to edge & 2 pairs regular size black strips with red on either side close to the edge. Border also either side of twined line marking center of mat and was where warp strands hung over battern in manufacture. The pairs of black strips cross each other in the 8 border corners. (slightly wider at ends than center) |
