Description

Tomb 2A = Herscher Tomb 802A. Red polished III bowl. Fragmentary. Very light red-brown clay. Bright red lustrous slip, little preserved. Round base, hemispherical body. slightly incurving rim; convex vertical lug at rim, pierced. Incised decoration: two antithetical superimposed horizontal hatched zigzags, group of five horizontal lines below; below rim, horizontal hatched zigzag framed by double lines.
