Description | Heavy, single-edged steel blade curving to point; plain gilt mounting. Walrus ivory handle, guard and sheath(51-13-1B). Both handle and sheath fully carved in high relif with warriors in armor, some on horseback, the horses also with armor; buildings; flowers, etc. Finely engraved floral pattern on ends of handle and on guard. Made for the tourist trade. Bad blade. Guard from another, larger weapon. |
