Face-neck vessel. Narrow-necked jar/bottle with a globular body, unknown neck, missing rim, 2? strap handles on the body, and a flat base. The vessel is painted with red and white painted decoration that is now mostly faded. There is a modeled/molded face with ears, eyes, nose, and mouth on the neck. The vessel was likely fired in an oxidizing atmosphere as the ceramic paste is orange in color. The catalogue number is written on the object in black ink. Black ink on the bottom of the base reads: "952."
