Description | Fragment of the wrapped of a mummy bale with fiber cord stitching Two long webs joined down center (warp direction) with whipstitch. All selvage and warp ends edges are visible. Plant fiber ties inserted throughout textile in various places. One tie along the center seam is still functional and holding the piece in a dart configuration. Color(s): Off-white. |
