Description | Amphora ("one piece" amphora). Flaring mouth, flat on top. Handles in section. Echinus foot.Two reserved panels: A) male bust in profile, with full, pointed beard and hair secured by fillets. Upper termination of chiton demarcated by two incised lines; B) horse protome with one upraised foreleg. At top of each panel three horizontal rows of dots latticed together in net pattern. In reserved base area, two rows of interlocking rays. |
