Description

Brass lantern clock with single foliot balance most likley made during the Edo Period. It has a square base with a dome-like brass bell on top and long cords for weights. The dial has the numbers 9-4 on the inner row repeating twice and the twelve earthly branches on the outer row. The clock face is red with one hand.
