Description | one of 18 neck fragments of Jugs, engraved with faces Fragment. The vessel has a modeled face on the neck with eyes, nose, and mouth. There are modeled arms holding something up to the mouth. The vessel was likely fired in an oxidizing atmosphere as the ceramic paste is orange in color. The catalogue number is written on the interior. Black ink on the interior reads: "1161-l." |
