Description | A. "Woman between satyr with torch and youth with thyrsus and situla." Woman faces right, holding wreath(?) in left toward youth. Youth, at right, stands facing woman, dressed in a cloak which covers all but the front of his torso. Satyr, nude, stands at left, torch in right hand. He wears a wreath and has a garland around his left shoulder and across his chest. His garment he carries over his forearm, falling down beside his left leg. B. Three draped youths. Youth in center and youth at left face one another. Youth at right faces toward youth at center. Youth at left holds up a wreath in right hand. Youth in center extends hand toward youth at left. Arms of youth at right completely covered. Recomposed from a number of fragments. Probably extensively repainted. |
